Mom's Little Diva

Just a wee pup trying to make it in this big world.

permalink Today was a sad day. We took Kristin to the airport, where she flew off to some other country called California. I thought about sneaking into her bag, but it looked pretty stuffy in there. Mom says to get used to driving to and from the airport, because Kristin is her demanding daughter and makes her travel that long, boring drive often and that I’ll be her co-pilot whenever she does so. Well, I can’t read, and I don’t know how to use a map, but I will keep her lap warm.
That was pretty mean of Kristin to come sweep me away from my birth mom and take me to my new family, and then just leave me four days later, don’t you think? But she promises she’ll be back in a month. I don’t know how long that is, but I hope it’s soon. I almost cried when she left, but then I saw a leaf and forgot what I was supposed to be upset about. I like pulling leaves off trees. My neighbor Jim calls me “Killer.” Darn skippy. Don’t I look like one?
